Joël Praz, M.A., academic researcher
Studied History, Political Science and Public management at the Universities of Lausanne and Bern. Master in Public management and policy (specialisation in Analyse politique de la gouvernance publique). After a first experience by the Diplomatic Documents of Switzerland as student assistant, he accomplished part of his civilian service by the Swiss Society of History and did an internship at the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation. Since October 2017, he is academic researcher for Dodis. He oversees the French editing and the Bibliography of the history of Swiss foreign policy.
Main fields of research
At Dodis responsible for Switzerland’s relations with the north and east coast of the Mediterranean see (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus), economic policy (the Swiss financial centre, IMF, World Bank, WTO, etc.) and Swiss migration policy (asylum policy, policy on foreigners, etc.).
